Last night, after getting home from picking up Isabella, she walks into the living where I'm at says, "Mom, I want to be a boy." I sincerely told her she couldn't be a boy. She broke down. She cried and hugged me and said, "but mommy, I want to be a boy, let me be a boy, please, please, please." I was trying to hold in my laughter, but didn't do so well. She was just upset as can be that she couldn't be a boy. I told her if she was a boy, then she wouldn't be able to be daddy's little princess. It didn't matter to her. She still just wanted to be a boy.
IF she was a boy, she would still have no name. I don't have any names for a boy picked out, well I did, but my cousin used it long ago. So, she would still be nameless little boy.

Party Girl!
My cousin was married on Saturday, and this was the first wedding she has been to since being able to explore on her own, and just be a little girl. She partied and danced the night away, with just one brief nap of maybe 20 minutes, then she was ready to go again. She started off the night, like any party girl does, Shirley Temple with extra cherries, please! That the stuff that gets the booty shaking!

Welcome and Thank You!
I decided to start blogging about Isabella because one, all the cool kids seem to have blogs, and I want her not to miss out ;).... second, I would like to share stories of Isabella. She constantly has us smiling, laughing, or in awe of her. I seem to have plenty of "awe" moments just seeing her in action, and I hope I can capture some of her essence in the blog. Third, I want the memories. I want to have something I can look back on and say, "oh wow, I forgot about that," or "She was so silly." So sit back, enjoy, and I hope you can get to know Isabella better through the stories I share.
