Rainbow Days
Isabella for the past few weeks has been telling me she wants to see a rainbow, last week, we had a beautiful double rainbow appear after a nice evening rain. Once she saw the rainbow, she said "wow, its sparkly." I sometimes forget what looking at rainbows are from a kids point of view. They are something magical, something special. To see and hear the amazement for her, made me look at the rainbow and appreciate the small things that Isabella things is the greatest thing. Would ya like to see this sparkly rainbow?? Well here ya go! (double bonus, there were two rainbows!)

First Day of Preschool!
The time had arrived, Isabella's first day of PRE-SCHOOL! I was nervous all day about her going. Isabella is outgoing, etc., but she seems to be a bit introverted at times whens he is around new people.
We got to the school a few minutes early to sign her in, and meet the teachers. There was a small little line outside and she automatically ran up to them and one cute little boy walked up and asked her name. She happily said "Bella." The door opened and she ran in ready for school. Everyone was nice, her teachers Miss Tess and Miss Jessica. She sat down and was ready. They were making little sticker books! I told her I was leaving and she said without hesitation "okay, bye!" I took a quick picture and walked out, and as I'm walking out, she stands up and says "bye momma!" I tried so hard not to cry, and I didn't. I walked out proud!
When I picked her up they were outside playing and she was excited to see me! She got her sticker for the day, then we went to her cubby to get everything out. She had her sticker paper, and a white paper bag with two faces on it! I was the proud momma of her first school work!
Miss Jessica told me that after a while she figured I was gone, and was hesitating not to cry, but she did so well.
I can't believe that my daughter, my baby is in pre-school. I hope she continues to like it, and make a few friends.

Average day, not so average
Today I was shown again, how special my daughter is. As soon as I picked her up today, all life problems disappeared. I had my world in my hands. She is so excited that tomorrow is Panka's birthday, and hopefully we can bake a cake for him.
This morning she got herself dressed and when I came in, her shirt was on backwards. So I say, in my mommy voice, "Isabella, your shirts on backwards" "Don't worry mommy, when I get to auntie's she'll turn it around." I think she does things, just so people will tell her, and she acts silly like she didn't know. What a personality.
All I hear all day, which I can never get enough is, "mommy, I love you." I must have done something right to have been blessed with her.

She can make me laugh at any time
So I get the pleasure of sharing my bed with Miss Bella Bee. So tonight instead of wearing PJ's to bed, she decided she wanted to wear her pink bathing suit. So she is asleep with her pink bathing suit on, Mickey in one hand, and Minnie in the other. What a sight to see.. I walk in the bedroom and immediately start laughing. She is so sweet and so loving, she can make me smile at every turn. I am blessed to be her mommy.

The Past Few Weeks
Its been a crazy few weeks. Isabella was sick for about a week, after a trip to Urgent Care, and getting her all better, we have just been trying to relax. My baby, for the first time had her first breathing treatment, she did so well with keeping the mask on. We were very surprised!
On Sunday, Isabella's daddy left for South Carolina for a time we aren't sure of at the moment. She misses him, but is doing very well. I am trying to keep her entertained and happy!
Last night, we made our own pizza's. Isabella loves licking the sauce of her hands, and eating the cheese and olives, so yeah, kinda hard to make a pizza when the ingredients go missing!

I want to be....
Last night, after getting home from picking up Isabella, she walks into the living where I'm at says, "Mom, I want to be a boy." I sincerely told her she couldn't be a boy. She broke down. She cried and hugged me and said, "but mommy, I want to be a boy, let me be a boy, please, please, please." I was trying to hold in my laughter, but didn't do so well. She was just upset as can be that she couldn't be a boy. I told her if she was a boy, then she wouldn't be able to be daddy's little princess. It didn't matter to her. She still just wanted to be a boy.
IF she was a boy, she would still have no name. I don't have any names for a boy picked out, well I did, but my cousin used it long ago. So, she would still be nameless little boy.

Party Girl!
My cousin was married on Saturday, and this was the first wedding she has been to since being able to explore on her own, and just be a little girl. She partied and danced the night away, with just one brief nap of maybe 20 minutes, then she was ready to go again. She started off the night, like any party girl does, Shirley Temple with extra cherries, please! That the stuff that gets the booty shaking!

Welcome and Thank You!
I decided to start blogging about Isabella because one, all the cool kids seem to have blogs, and I want her not to miss out ;).... second, I would like to share stories of Isabella. She constantly has us smiling, laughing, or in awe of her. I seem to have plenty of "awe" moments just seeing her in action, and I hope I can capture some of her essence in the blog. Third, I want the memories. I want to have something I can look back on and say, "oh wow, I forgot about that," or "She was so silly." So sit back, enjoy, and I hope you can get to know Isabella better through the stories I share.
